Mounting plates for your rain gauge make placement and use of these instruments easy and effective. Each mounting plate is specifically designed for an individual rain gauge or weather station rain gauge. All mounting plates come with complete mounting hardware kits for the intended uses. All mounting plates are made from 1/8"thick (not weak .060") aluminum which has been tested in New England winter for endurance. The mounting plates are anoidized and wet spray painted white for corrosion protection. All mounting plates have drain holes strategically located under the self dumping mechanism so dumped rain will not pool up under the rain gauge and possibly deteriorate the internal electronics.

Rain gauge mounting plates come in two forms: mounting plate for fence, post or your supplied ground post/elevated mast or mounting plate with our supplied 40" 2 section galvanized steel ground post. All kits come with 2 U bolts and all hardware to mount rain gauge to mounting plate.
